Senior Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance

Role: Senior Director of Safety & Pharmacovigilance leading global safety strategy for vaccine candidates, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Responsibilities: develop and execute safety risk management plans, oversee signal detection and safety data review, lead PV systems and compliance efforts, and represent Vaxcyte in external regulatory and industry forums. Lead and mentor PV teams, collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Medical, and Manufacturing units, and manage vendor relationships. Requirements: RN, PharmD, PA, NP or equivalent with 10+ years' experience; 8+ years in PV leadership, with proven expertise in safety signal detection, risk management, and global regulatory interactions, particularly within vaccine or advanced modalities. HighValue: vaccine safety science, global PV regulations, signal detection tools, experience with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ARISg), and familiarity with post-market surveillance systems like VAERS or VSD.
