Senior Director Regional Medical Science

Role: Senior leadership position as Field Director of Oncology MSL, responsible for leading and developing a team of 7 Medical Science Liaisons to ensure high-quality scientific engagement in oncology. Objectives include translating therapeutic area strategies into regional execution, supporting clinical programs, and capturing insights to inform medical strategies. Responsibilities encompass team coaching and performance monitoring, executing field medical activities aligned with product launches and clinical education, and fostering cross-functional collaborations with Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and external stakeholders. Ensures all activities are compliant with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. Qualifications: Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD); at least 8 years in pharma/healthcare, including 3+ years leading MSL teams, with significant experience in solid tumor oncology and recent lung cancer exposure preferred. Technical skills include stakeholder management, strategic planning, and strong communication. Willingness to travel up to 70%. High-value specifics: Focus on oncology, particularly non-small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer, with involvement in Phase 3 clinical trials of investigational therapies (ivonescimab), supporting global studies in late-stage development. Work setup involves field-based activities with extensive cross-functional engagement.
