Position Summary
- Lead program management for Travere’s development program in rare immune-mediated kidney diseases and may support other development programs or products.
- Partner with Program Lead and cross-functional Strategy Team to drive integrated strategy, planning execution, governance, and decision-making across the full product lifecycle.
- Partner with Alliance Management for alignment, communication, and governance with partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional program planning and execution (clinical, regulatory, commercial, access, manufacturing, medical, nonclinical).
- Organize and lead strategy team meetings (agendas, objectives, decision documentation, accountability).
- Develop/maintain integrated development plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management.
- Identify critical path, interdependencies, risks; implement mitigations.
- Coordinate program governance and lead preparation of decision-ready materials.
- Support program budgeting/forecasting with Finance and manage executive endorsement.
- Contribute to departmental/corporate process improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or related field; Master’s preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years biotech/pharma development experience.
- 5+ years program/project leadership in complex drug development.
- Desired: rare disease/orphan drug/late-stage experience; NDA/MAA regulatory understanding.
- Ability to lead/influence in matrixed cross-functional environments; experience with partnerships (preferably Asia-based).
Additional Requirements
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet; basic ChatGPT use to improve efficiencies.
- Strong facilitation, negotiation/consensus, prioritization, resource planning, communication.
- Not 100% remote; ability to perform face-to-face work/onsite in San Diego as requested.
