Senior Director Production (Davie, FL)
Responsibilities:
- Design, evaluate, and implement best-in-class manufacturing and associated processes for pharmaceutical products.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Project Management, Quality Control, and Commercial to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Identify and implement supply chain opportunities to improve service and cost.
- Ensure operational safety; identify preventative plans to prevent accidents.
- Ensure equipment is in working order; recommend purchasing new equipment and improvements.
- Lead operational excellence; recommend new equipment/processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and reduce cost; develop/maintain OPEX systems; create adaptable processes for changing business needs.
- Accountable for packaging cost drivers, compliance, and ongoing cost improvement.
- Complete all training requirements and maintain 100% compliance.
- Maintain safe, efficient work areas and perform duties per company policies, cGMPs, SOPs, and batch record instructions.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Management, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field; 10 years in pharmaceutical development.
- At least 10 years experience with supervising teams (8+), leading project management teams, launching new products, manufacturing/production & technology transfer, cGMPs, FDA/EU/ICH guidelines, CMC regulatory submission review/approval, pre-approval inspections, production lifecycle (scheduling, equipment/validation, technology/product determination), and cross-functional operations (Supply Chain/Engineering) across geographically distributed sites.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
- Travel <5%.
