Role Responsibilities
- Own Platform technical strategy: connect business priorities, enterprise architecture standards, and emerging technology into a roadmap and target-state architecture.
- Act as design authority: define target architecture, technical standards, and integration patterns; ensure major decisions are enterprise-scale and sustainable.
- Lead platform engineering teams building and operating the Platform; ensure investments are modern, secure, scalable, and reusable.
- Partner with business/Digital leaders and product owners to turn ambiguous needs into practical technical choices, delivery models, and measurable outcomes.
- Define responsible AI-enabled delivery (AI, automation, modern engineering) with appropriate governance and verification.
- Build and develop a high-performing engineering team; foster technical excellence, accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Establish reliability, security, documentation, and operational excellence expectations (compliant, observable, resilient at global scale).
Qualifications
- Basic: Bachelorβs degree + 12+ years senior engineering/technical leadership in enterprise platforms/cloud/large-scale delivery; proven ownership of technical strategy and architecture for a platform/domain; ability to lead and develop engineering teams; deep hands-on expertise in modern engineering, cloud, data/integration patterns, APIs, security, and reliability; experience partnering with senior business/Digital stakeholders.
- Preferred: advanced degree; regulated global enterprise experience; AI-enabled delivery/automation/platform reuse; influence senior leaders; recognized technical depth (e.g., agent platforms/data fabric/DEVX/colleague-facing AI/cyber defense).
