Position Summary:
Senior Director, Organizational Strategy & Capability—partner with executive leaders and People Success Partners to translate business priorities into practical talent, workforce, and organizational strategies that enable sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Align organizational strategies with enterprise/functional business priorities.
- Assess organizational effectiveness; improve performance, scalability, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead organization design (operating model evolution, role clarity, governance, workforce alignment).
- Balance business needs, employee experience, organizational health, and long-term growth.
- Support career development, talent mobility, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement.
- Equip People Success Partners with frameworks/tools and consultative expertise for organizational design and change management.
- Facilitate leadership discussions to align design principles, decision rights, and change readiness.
- Develop workforce/capability strategies; partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Experience.
- Assess workforce trends, evolving skills, and emerging technologies (including AI).
- Support succession planning and talent review; identify strengths, gaps, and risks.
- Lead change initiatives; conduct impact assessments/readiness evaluations; coach leaders/teams.
- Build change management tools/templates and reinforce culture/values in change strategy.
- Establish metrics/frameworks and provide executive-ready insights; monitor progress and adoption.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years in organizational strategy/effectiveness, workforce strategy, transformation, talent management, or related.
- Strong consulting + in-house life sciences/biotech/pharma/healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Proven transformation/workforce strategy/enterprise capability-building success.
- Experience influencing senior leaders across matrixed organizations.
- Strategic thinking, facilitation, executive communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving.
- Ability to translate business strategy into talent/org solutions.
- Travel up to 15%.

Preferred:
- High-growth biotech/pharma/healthcare experience.
- Expertise in org design, workforce planning, leadership development, change management, talent strategy.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, AI-enabled workforce strategies, future-of-work.
- Partnership across HR CoE/People Business Partner teams.
