Role: Strategic leader overseeing discovery and late-stage development of small molecule oncology therapeutics, shaping the company's pipeline and innovation in cancer treatment. Responsibilities: develop and implement pipeline strategies, evaluate new therapeutic opportunities, ensure seamless transition from discovery to IND-enabling studies, and support clinical and regulatory engagement. Lead cross-functional collaborations with chemistry, translational science, clinical, and business teams; contribute to business development and external asset evaluation; mentor staff and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. Requirements: Ph.D. in Biology, Oncology, Pharmacology, or related STEM field; 10+ years' industry experience with a strong track record in cancer biology, small molecule design (including induced proximity), and advancing candidates into clinical studies. Proven experience in late-stage program leadership, IND filing, and stakeholder engagement in oncology. Preferred: broad small molecule expertise, experience with modalities beyond traditional small molecules, and familiarity with innovative approaches. Work setup: Based at Boston site with ~10% travel.
