Senior Director, Medical Affairs

Role: Senior Director, Medical Affairs, leading U.S. medical strategy during late-stage development to launch of lanifibranor, a Phase 3 biopharma asset. Responsibilities: direct scientific interpretation and dissemination of pivotal trial data, develop medical narratives, manage KOL relationships, lead advisory boards, and support launch readiness with a focus on scientific communication and compliance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, and other teams, ensuring adherence to FDA and industry regulations. Requirements: MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent; 10+ years in Medical Affairs within biotech/pharma; proven support for Phase 3 trials and data readouts; pre-launch or launch experience preferred; strong KOL engagement history; regulatory knowledge. Preferred: strategic yet operational mindset, excellent communication, leadership experience, and ability to work with ambiguity. High-value: biotech setting, late-stage clinical data, U.S. market focus, approximately 30–40% travel for meetings and external engagement.
