Job Summary
Senior Director, Market Transformation. Identify emerging market trends, bring external insights into the organization, and translate opportunities into scalable programs that increase brand awareness, improve patient access, and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor external healthcare, market, and policy landscape to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide actionable market insights to enable brand, access, and commercialization decisions
- Support product launches and portfolio optimization by identifying market transformation opportunities
- Evaluate and advance solutions in AI, digital health, and alternative distribution models (e.g., CDS, telehealth)
- Design, develop, and activate programs to drive brand awareness and improve patient access (e.g., develop business care, scout/select solutions, gain approval)
- Evaluate business value of opportunities using defined criteria; prioritize highest-potential programs
- Establish and monitor adoption metrics and KPIs; report regularly to BU leadership on utilization and value realization
- Assess operational efficiencies and approaches that improve execution and patient outcomes
- Scale programs with measurable impact for broader implementation
- Partner with Commercial, Market Access, Medical, Patient Support, Legal, and Compliance to ensure alignment and execution
- Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders and partners to expand reach and impact
- Ensure programs align with company goals, standards, and compliance requirements
- Serve as primary liaison on BULT for market transformation; translate business needs into prioritized opportunities and own execution
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years in biopharmaceuticals, healthcare strategy, commercial innovation, market access, consulting, or related field
- Proven ability to translate market insights into recommendations and action
- Experience developing/implementing innovative healthcare solutions, partnerships, or patient access programs
- Strong understanding of healthcare ecosystem, market dynamics, access considerations, and stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed environment
- Strong executive presence, communication, and influence skills
- Ability to identify opportunities early, solve problems creatively, and drive measurable impact
