Role: Senior Director, International Compliance leading Rhythm's global compliance initiatives across European and other international markets. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and enhancing the compliance program; providing practical legal and ethical guidance on anti-bribery, transparency, HCP/HCO interactions, and third-party risk management; designing training, monitoring, auditing, and reporting systems; and supporting launch readiness and cross-functional compliance efforts. The role also involves managing investigations, risk assessments, and fostering a strong compliance culture. Qualifications: Qualified lawyer or senior compliance specialist with 10-12 years in healthcare, pharma, biotech, or medical devices, supporting multiple jurisdictions, especially Europe; experience working in global or matrix organizations; deep understanding of industry codes (EFPIA, ABPI), anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws, transparency reporting, and privacy regulations; fluency in English. Preferred: Advanced legal or related degree (JD, LL.M., masterβs), experience in rare disease or biotech sectors, familiarity with compliance systems and analytics tools, and managing external vendors. The role requires periodic travel within Europe, US, and other countries.
