Senior Director, Internal & Employee Communications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated employee communications strategy and plans supporting enterprise priorities, organizational initiatives, and employee engagement.
- Create internal communications materials (business updates, presentations, talking points, leader communications, FAQs, enterprise announcements).
- Translate complex initiatives and organizational changes into accessible communications.
- Draft/refine communications content for internal audiences and ensure consistent messaging.
- Partner with Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, Digital Communications, Issues Management; collaborate with HR, Legal, Public Affairs, and business stakeholders.
- Support communications during organizational change/business transformation.
- Foster engagement, transparency, and understanding; use employee feedback/engagement insights to improve effectiveness.
- Manage multiple projects, coordinate with agencies/vendors, and monitor effectiveness.
Qualifications (Skills/Experience):
- Significant experience in corporate communications/internal communications/employee engagement or related.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling; ability to tailor to different audiences.
- Experience with organizational change/enterprise initiatives; ability to influence in a matrixed organization.
- Strong project management; discretion with sensitive matters.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Healthcare/biotech/pharma or other highly regulated industry preferred.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s + 14+ years, OR Master’s + 12+ years, OR equivalent combination.

Compensation/Benefits: Salary range $243,100.00–$314,600.00; may include discretionary bonus/stock incentives; paid time off; company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
