Senior Director, Inflammation Pipeline, Global Medical Affairs

Role: Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Inflammation Strategy, leading scientific and strategic initiatives for Gilead's inflammation pipeline. Responsibilities: oversee Medical Affairs activities, build and manage a team of 3-6 professionals, collaborate cross-functionally on clinical development, evidence generation, and stakeholder engagement; contribute to clinical trial input and clinical planning across phases; serve as a therapeutic area expert at global conferences; support pre-launch activities and scientific messaging; provide medical due diligence for business development. Qualifications: advanced degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD), 12+ years of industry/clinical experience, including 5+ years in pharma and prior launch experience preferred; leadership and people management skills essential. High-Value: inflammation therapeutic area (e.g., rheumatology, immunology, inflammatory bowel disease), involvement from Phase 1 through commercialization, cross-functional collaboration, experience in evidence generation, scientific communication, and global stakeholder engagement.
