Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a proactive, integrated enterprise and HR communications strategy supporting talent, culture, and organizational priorities (including transformation, workforce engagement, and leadership communications).
- Serve as trusted advisor to the CHRO/HR leadership on business positioning, narrative development, stakeholder engagement, and reputational considerations.
- Anticipate risks/opportunities and proactively shape executive narratives.
- Create/review executive materials (speeches, business updates, town halls, talking points, Q&A, external thought leadership) aligned to long-range priorities.
- Translate HR strategy, talent priorities, and organizational changes into clear messaging.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal communications, media relations, digital/social, and issues management to ensure consistent execution.
- Lead planning and execution of communications during organizational change or sensitive workforce-related issues.
- Support executive preparation/coaching for internal/external engagements; strengthen executive presence and visibility.
- Use employee feedback and engagement insights to refine communications.
- Manage external agencies/advisors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 14+ years (Bachelorโs) or 12+ years (Masterโs), or 12+ years in strategic/executive communications/corporate affairs within a publicly traded company/agency.
- Strong executive and internal communications experience in global/matrixed environments.
- Deep understanding of employee engagement, organizational culture, and change management.
- Exceptional strategic writing/storytelling; ability to translate complex initiatives into compelling communications.
- Sound judgment/discretion with sensitive workforce/organizational issues; strong interpersonal and relationship-building.
- Ability to influence senior leaders, lead through influence, operate independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Healthcare/biopharmaceutical experience strongly preferred.
