Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner - Technology

Role: Senior Director, HR Business Partner for Vertex’s Data, Technology & AI organization, partnering directly with the CDIO to lead talent strategy and organizational effectiveness aligned with the digital transformation driven by AI. Responsibilities: act as the primary HR strategist, translating business and tech strategies into people initiatives; lead change management and embedding new operating models; design organizational structures; own talent lifecycle including capability development, succession planning, and workforce planning; coach senior leaders and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning; leverage data, analytics, and AI within HR workflows to inform decisions and enhance outcomes. Requirements: 12+ years in HR partnering with technical, data, AI, or engineering functions in fast-paced, complex environments; deep expertise in organizational design, change leadership, workforce planning, and AI-enabled HR practices; bachelor’s degree; proven ability to influence senior executives and translate organizational needs into strategic talent initiatives.
