Senior Director, Head of Commercialization Data and AI Delivery

Role: Senior Director leading BMS's internal Data & AI platform transformation for Commercialization, focusing on migration to Databricks and establishing a sustainable internal delivery model. Responsibilities include setting operational standards, managing a US-India engineering team, evolving external delivery partnerships, building technical leadership, and engaging with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Medical, and Market Access. The role entails overseeing platform engineering, AI/ML, and analytics functions, ensuring governance and enterprise architecture compliance, and driving milestones for the transformation. Qualifications: 15+ years in data engineering or technology delivery, with at least 10 years managing sizable engineering teams and leading platform transitions, preferably within regulated industries like pharma or healthcare. Experience managing external integrators during platform shifts and working with cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake is required. Preferred skills include building distributed teams including offshore delivery, strong executive presence, and relevant technical certifications.
