Role: Senior Director, Global SOX at Revolution Medicines, overseeing the companyโs enterprise-wide Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls program. Responsibilities: lead global SOX and ICFR initiatives, develop scalable governance models, coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions, maintain SOX documentation, and serve as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors. Also oversee ITGC programs supporting financial reporting systems, partner with IT and process owners on controls related to enterprise systems, and embed controls in system implementations and operational processes. Lead remediation efforts for audit findings and build a high-performing global SOX team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, CISA or similar certification preferred; 12+ yearsโ experience in SOX, internal controls, IT audit, or controllership, with extensive experience managing SOX 404 programs in publicly traded, multi-entity, international companies. Deep knowledge of COSO, PCAOB standards, SEC reporting, ITGCs, and financial processes. Preferred: experience in biotech/life sciences, global ERP systems, SOX automation and analytics, and familiarity with platforms like NetSuite, Workday, or Wdesk. Collaboration with senior management, auditors, and cross-functional teams across geographies is essential. Location: Redwood City headquarters, with international interaction.
