Senior Director, Global Program Lead – Neuroscience (Hybrid)
POSITION OBJECTIVES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own overarching Global Program(s): define asset strategy and lead all development and LCM activities from discovery through marketplace.
- Lead cross-functional Global Program Team (GPT) and provide matrix leadership to deliver scope, objectives, budget, and timelines.
- Partner across functions to maximize asset value; ensure regulatory approval, launch, and global patient access.
- Lead program strategy, planning, and execution: vision, goals, priorities, long-term plans, schedules, and critical-path reporting.
- Manage operating budgets with the Global Program Manager; monitor expenditures and manage variances.
- Manage resources and risks; develop contingencies and drive issue resolution.
- Lead change management and support KPI/tracking systems; may lead key initiatives and feasibility studies.
QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) or MBA.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience with R&D and commercial operations.
- 8+ years global/interdisciplinary experience on complex, matrixed projects (strategy + execution).
QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)
- Advanced degree in science or business; broad business/enterprise orientation.
- Managed multiple NME global approvals.
SKILLS
- Passion for developing others into future leaders.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
- PMI Project Management Professional (desired).
