Senior Director, Global HEOR, Hemoglobinopathies

Role: Senior Director of Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) leading strategies for Vertex's Hemoglobinopathies (Heme) portfolio through development, launch, and post-market phases. Responsibilities: develop and execute HEOR strategies, oversee evidence generation, outcomes research, modeling, and health technology assessments; serve as the HEOR lead for cross-functional and regional teams; collaborate with commercial, medical, and clinical teams; manage HEOR staff. Requirements: advanced degree (PhD, MD, MPH, PharmD), 12+ years in HEOR or related field, 5+ years of supervisory experience; expertise in patient-reported outcomes, observational research, health economic modeling, and market access; strong communication, technical, and regulatory knowledge. High-Value: focus on Hemoglobinopathies, biologics or gene therapies, lifecycle management including launch and post-launch, health technology appraisals, payer interactions, and evidence dissemination.
