General Summary:
The Senior Director, Finance Integration Lead serves as the finance business partner for M&A activities, enabling disciplined, well-governed integrations that support business continuity, financial transparency, strong controls, and alignment with Vertex standards. Oversees the financial strategy, execution, and outcomes of M&A integrations, with primary focus on FP&A (financial planning, forecasting, reporting) and coordination across finance, HR, accounting, and other stakeholders.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Lead finance integration planning and execution for M&A integrations (primary accountability for FP&A-related processes, deliverables, and outcomes).
- Drive alignment of planning, forecasting, and reporting processes with Vertex standards.
- Coordinate finance integration activities (systems, financial data flows, reporting consistency).
- Baselining and governance of deal assumptions and value capture initiatives; track and report against integration objectives.
- Establish and manage the finance integration roadmap (milestones, dependencies, risks, mitigation).
- Organize, translate, and present acquiring-company financial information in Vertex frameworks.
- Maintain integration governance, reporting cadences, and executive-level updates.
- Identify process gaps and implement standardization aligned with Vertex operating practices.
- Support change management, adoption of Vertex processes, and transition to steady-state operations.

Knowledge And Skills:
- Deep FP&A knowledge (planning, budgeting, forecasting, recasting).
- Understanding of finance/accounting stakeholder interactions during integrations.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional integrations with multiple priorities.
- Financial analysis, problem-solving, and decision support.
- Ability to baseline, monitor, and communicate performance vs. value capture initiatives.
- Executive communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to translate information into standardized Vertex formats and frameworks.
- Collaboration/influencing skills and high judgment/attention to detail.

Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced degree/certification preferred.
- 12+ years of experience (or equivalent) in finance, FP&A, accounting, and/or business integration roles.
- Substantial experience leading complex finance initiatives/integration efforts.
- Prior leadership experience managing senior stakeholders and multiple workstreams.

Benefits/Pay:
- Pay range: $212,000 - $318,000.
- Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
