Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement best practices for sales force field enablement for launch and in-line brands.
- Lead a team of field operations personnel and contingent workers.
- Contribute to field incentive compensation (IC) design; administer field IC program, manage IC payments, ensure plan compliance, conduct IC โ€œhealth checks,โ€ and maintain IC documentation/business rules.
- Establish and maintain field force sizing, territory alignments, and HCP targeting.
- Design and maintain field sales force and management reporting dashboards (product sales tracking, incentive compensation, field activities).
- Design and maintain customer relationship marketing tools; partner cross-functionally to maximize efficiency and seamless interactions.
- Manage vehicle fleet program, field sales credentialing program, and product sampling program (per accountability policies/regulations).
- Build strategy to strengthen Vertexโ€™s external footprint across therapeutic areas; support multiple small molecule and gene therapy teams.
- Plan scaling/growth of North America commercial organization as indications/launches expand.
- Support cross-functional design/implementation of incentive compensation program (measurement, quotas, awards, contests).
- Collaborate with IT/DTE and Business Information on data infrastructure and enhancements; ensure data integrity and compliance with PDMA, AMA, and other regulations.
- Manage vendors/services within budgets; ensure career development and high-quality deliverables.
- Complete ad-hoc projects and analysis for Field Operations.

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (BS/BA or equivalent).
- Typically 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/consulting (related area) and 5 years supervisory/management experience.

Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Project management in sales force sizing/reporting, data management, and incentive compensation.
- Strong communication/presentation; analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sample accountability.
- Sales data tracking systems expertise.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally.
- CRM experience (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce.com); IQVIA DDD/Xponent; Specialty Pharmacy and patient-level de-identified data.
