Role Summary
Senior Director/Director, HEOR Product Lead CVM-Remote. Remote role based in the US; no relocation. Travel expectations defined by the hiring manager.
Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and communicate evidence necessary to optimize patient access, inform physician practice, and value of products in the US market. Efficient project tactical execution.
- Manage multiple HEOR projects, associated budgets and external & internal partners, while ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with stakeholders.
- Represent the HEOR team in Medical Strategy Teams to develop medical and Evidence/HEOR strategies demonstrating value to payers, clinicians, and patients.
- Exhibit medical leadership in strategic alignment with other areas and propose new ideas in cross-functional teams.
- Build external KOL, institutional, and individual partnerships as needed.
- Effectively communicate impactful research to diverse audiences.
- Publish and present impactful research at scientific conferences and forums.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to shape research partnerships and disseminate HEOR findings in support of external stakeholders including SOCs and payers.
Qualifications
- 10+ yearsβ experience in the pharma or healthcare sector, preferably in health economics, market access or related fields.
- Experience across data verticals (real-world data, RCTs, surveys, registries, tokenization) and methodologies (retrospective/prospective AI, frequentist, Bayesian) across product life-cycle.
- Strong publication record.
- Experience engaging or partnering with external organizations (e.g., SOCs, payers, universities, value assessors, regulatory agencies) preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and execute and drive excellence in cross-functional teams.
- Expert knowledge of Health Economics, Outcomes Research, and Real World Evidence including study design, methodologies, modeling, data sources and analyses.
- Deep knowledge of US healthcare financing and delivery system, payer environment, and evolving trends.
Education
- Advanced degree (masters or doctorate) in health economics, statistics, epidemiology, health policy or related field required.
- PhD or PharmD with focus in Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology or related field preferred.
