Position Summary
The Senior Director, Data and Analytics, will lead the planning and execution of the data strategy (procurement, warehousing, integration, aggregation, and reporting) at national and sub-national levels to support the commercial launch. Partner cross-functionally to develop and roll out business KPIs and analytical/reporting solutions.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Lead development, customization, implementation, and refinement of technology solutions (CRM, data warehouse, BI tools) aligned with Commercial planning and operations.
- Develop analytics process and reporting framework for performance and field activity data; provide KPI reporting via dashboards and ad hoc reports for sales teams and leadership.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners (HUB, SP, 3PL, institutions, etc.) to implement data workflows, metrics, KPIs, and analytics to measure commercialization success.
- Optimize and recommend data sources for go-to-market activities across field role types (including partner and vendor data).
- Prepare content for periodic internal meetings (Executive/Commercial/Field team meetings).
- Work with Data Management and IT to ensure proper loading of customer data, targeting refreshes, alignment management, and supplier data delivery receipt.
- Lead annual territory and quarterly capacity planning; optimize segmentation, account targeting, and routes to market.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required; Masterβs degree or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years in pharmaceutical commercial analytics/data management.
- Experience in pharmaceutical situation analysis and brand planning.
- Ability to consolidate and present findings.
- Ability to lead/partner with IT, Data Management, data suppliers, Compliance, Legal, and vendors to align deliverables, quality, and support service levels.
- Expertise in pharmaceutical sales data sources (retail, institution, specialty pharmacy prescription/customer datasets).
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and external stakeholder engagement.
- Strong negotiation skills in complex situations.
Travel: Up to 5%.

Base salary range: $240,000β$300,000; discretionary annual target bonus; stock options; ESPP; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision/basic life; 20 days PTO; 10 paid holidays; winter company shutdown.
