Senior Director, Solution Architect β Core Technology
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive end-to-end solution architecture across Core Technology domains: Azure-first cloud (with AWS footprint), Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Copilot), enterprise network services (connectivity, SD-WAN, global infrastructure), data center/hybrid hosting, end-user computing (Windows/Mac/mobility), collaboration (Zoom, Teams Rooms), and ITSM/service experience (ServiceNow).
- Co-architect cybersecurity capabilities with Information Security; align infrastructure, collaboration, and security architecture strategies.
- Create reference architectures, design standards, integration patterns; eliminate silos and ensure interoperability.
- Lead Core Technology architecture strategy for enterprise AI enablement (Copilot/M365/Azure AI) with secure integration and alignment to governance/privacy/regulatory expectations.
- Establish architecture governance (design reviews, standards, exception management); ensure GxP/regulatory/compliance/security alignment.
- Serve as architecture accountability for cross-domain decisions; modernize and rationalize platforms.
- Influence without direct authority across global domains; partner with Information Security, Data Services, Application teams.
- Align vendors/partners (Microsoft, Cisco/Palo Alto/Verizon/AT&T, Zoom, ServiceNow, Accenture, Lenovo/Dell/Apple).
- Ensure solutions are designed for operability with outsourced operations; align architecture with service delivery.
Required/Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Azure cloud architecture; AWS experience; Microsoft 365 (Teams/Exchange/SharePoint/Copilot) and Azure AI; enterprise networking/SD-WAN.
- Security architecture co-design experience (identity, endpoint protection, network security, zero-trust, cloud security).
- Hybrid hosting; end-user computing (Windows/Mac/mobility); Zoom/Teams Rooms; ServiceNow/ITSM; governance/standards; reference architectures and integration patterns; lifecycle management.
- Preferred: enterprise AI in regulated environments; digital workplace transformation; hybrid global collaboration; managed services integration; interoperability improvements; secure-by-design/compliance.
- 12β15+ years IT infrastructure/workplace technologies; solution/enterprise architecture leadership; complex global enterprise experience; success across multiple domains; GxP-regulated environment preferred; lead via influence; executive communication.
Compensation (provided): $228,000β$342,000 base; eligible for annual bonus and equity awards.
