Construction Oversight:
- Directly supervise and manage a team of 3β5 direct reports to safely execute large-scale capital programs ($1B+).
- Accountable for field construction execution from detailed design through mechanical completion; deliver on safety, cost, schedule, and quality for Brownfield and Greenfield sites.
- Own field execution budget and capital spend, including cost forecasting, change management, and financial controls.
Interface/Communication:
- Primary point of contact between field construction teams and program leadership; report to Associate Vice President of GFD.
- Maintain communication across governance bodies, business partners, and site stakeholders; facilitate issue resolution and scope change identification.
Compliance/Safety:
- Lead disciplined construction management aligned with company policies, construction quality standards, applicable GMP, and regulatory frameworks.
- Develop/maintain safety and environmental execution plans; ensure contractor compliance; serve on the site safety leadership team.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
- 20+ yearsβ industrial/manufacturing capital construction delivery (preferably $500MM+ programs with field supervision).
- Experience with greenfield and large-scale brownfield projects.
- Experience managing multiple construction contractors/CM firms.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel.
Additional Preferences (selected):
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing construction; GMP construction; LEAN; quality systems; project controls; safety leadership/scheduling.
- PE/CCM (or equivalent); PMP/Construction Management preferred.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated): $159,000β$233,200; bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits (e.g., 401(k), medical/dental/vision).
