Responsibilities:
- Supervise/manage 3β5 direct reports to safely execute $1B+ capital programs from detailed design through mechanical completion (Brownfield and Greenfield), meeting safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Own field execution budget and capital spend; handle cost forecasting, change management, and financial controls.
- Serve as primary point of contact between field construction teams and GFD leadership; develop communication across stakeholders and resolve issues.
- Proactively identify scope changes and implement construction work with quality, speed, and value.
- Ensure construction management compliance with relevant quality standards/GMP (where applicable) and regulatory frameworks.
- Develop/maintain safety and environmental execution plans; ensure compliance from mobilization through turnover; serve on site safety leadership.
Qualifications (Required):
- BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
- 20+ yearsβ capital project construction delivery experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities (preferably $500MM+).
- Experience executing greenfield and large-scale brownfield projects.
- Experience managing multiple construction contractors/firms concurrently.
- Ability/willingness to relocate and/or travel outside home state/country.
Preferences (Preferred):
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing construction experience (Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, devices).
- GMP construction; LEAN; construction quality systems; project controls; civil/structural/mechanical/electrical; safety leadership; scheduling.
- PE/CCM; PMP or construction management certification.
