Senior Director, Commercial Training

Responsibilities
- Develop and own an enterprise commercial training strategy supporting the specialty portfolio, launch cadence, and long-term ambitions.
- Lead adult learning and performance enablement in a science-driven, regulated environment.
- Build, lead, and mentor a commercial training organization (internal/external partners).
- Define and maintain a commercial selling competency framework aligned to selling roles and career stages.
- Oversee design/delivery of onboarding, disease state, product, selling skills, leadership, and advanced training (U.S. and global as applicable).
- Ensure training reflects scientific rigor, accurate clinical data, and approved messaging (with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance).
- Lead national/regional meetings, workshops, and virtual learning to drive launch readiness and excellence.
- Translate complex science into practical, customer-relevant learning; build role-based curricula and learning journeys.
- Use technology-enabled learning (digital platforms, simulations, virtual learning, AI-enabled tools) to drive skill mastery and behavior change.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to align training to brand strategy and field realities; support launches and field engagement models.
- Establish metrics to measure competency/skill progression, behavior change, and business impact; continuously improve using data and feedback.

Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree; 12+ years commercial pharma/life sciences experience with commercial training/sales enablement/commercial excellence leadership; 5+ years people leadership; success leading training in specialty/scientific therapeutic areas in regulated environments; strong FDA/promotional compliance knowledge.
Preferred: Specialty/rare disease/complex portfolios; launch experience (first-in-class/differentiated); omnichannel/digital/hybrid exposure; global/matrix experience.

Pay Range
- $226,400 - $339,600 (annual bonus and annual equity awards; overtime eligibility may apply).
