Senior Director, Commercial Learning and Development and Onboarding

Role: Senior Director of Commercial Learning and Development, focused on building and executing training strategies for Celldex’s first product launch. Responsibilities: design enterprise-wide onboarding and training programs across sales, marketing, market access, and medical affairs; develop training content, manage external vendors, establish metrics for effectiveness, and oversee infrastructure such as LMS. Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and HR teams; lead a matrixed team including field and home-office staff; support launch readiness and post-launch scaling. Requirements: 10+ years in biotech/pharma commercial training with pre-launch experience preferred; proven ability to develop training from scratch in a fast-paced environment; expertise in adult learning principles, vendor management, and project execution; excellent communication skills; willing to travel up to 35%. High-value: focus on immunology, antibody-based therapies, Phase 3 pivotal studies in allergy and dermatology indications (e.g., CSU, ColdU, SD, AD, PN); experience supporting product launches in highly scientific, entrepreneurial settings; leadership in training for commercial functions within biotech/pharma.
