Lead Business Development in a pharmaceutical CDMO (selling, formulation, product development, clinical supply, commercial manufacturing, packaging, and analytical services to biopharma companies and public/private institutions). Generate leads, manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, negotiate contracts, and align client requirements with internal manufacturing and CMC capabilities. Develop/improve the customer acquisition playbook, business processes/policies, streamline the customer journey, support marketing strategy, and drive sales to meet growth plans.

Responsibilities:
- Lead generation & prospecting (prospecting, cold calling, networking at trade shows) to build a pipeline.
- Manage RFPs; collaborate with estimation and technical teams to craft tailored, cost-effective solutions.
- Lead contract negotiation and commercial discussions; finalize CDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.
- Cross-functional collaboration (Commercial QA, Supply Chain, Project Management) to ensure tech transfers and onboarding.
- Monitor biopharma trends, drug pipeline developments, and competitors.
- Develop and present DPT capabilities; own client relationship, deliverables, timelines, and bid process through award decision.
- Represent DPT at trade shows/conferences; drive repeat and new business opportunities.
- Position functions autonomously.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Business; advanced degree/MBA preferred.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/CDMO (CMO/CDMO) sales/business development; 6+ years B2B pharmaceutical sales required.
- Strong understanding of drug development lifecycle, CMC, and technical operations (aseptic fill-finish, API synthesis, or biologics).
- Extensive industry relationships.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen; highly independent, goal-oriented, self-starter.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word; English required.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $151,000 - $314,000.
