Senior Director, CDMO Revenue Operations

Role Responsibilities:
- Lead business development for a pharmaceutical CDMO providing selling, formulation, product development, clinical supply, commercial manufacturing, packaging, and analytical services to biopharma companies and institutions.
- Generate leads and manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle; negotiate contracts and align client needs with internal manufacturing and CMC capabilities.
- Develop/improve the customer acquisition playbook and sales processes to streamline the customer journey and support marketing strategy and growth plans.
- Lead generation/prospecting (cold calling, networking, trade shows).
- Manage RFPs with internal estimation and technical teams to deliver tailored, cost-effective proposals.
- Lead contract negotiations, including CDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.
- Coordinate cross-functionally (Commercial QA, Supply Chain, Project Management) for tech transfers and onboarding.
- Conduct market intelligence on biopharma trends, pipelines, and competitors.
- Develop and present DPT capabilities; own client relationship, bid deliverables, and timelines through award.
- Represent DPT at trade shows/conferences to secure repeat and new business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Business; advanced degree or MBA highly preferred.
- 10+ years sales/business development in pharmaceutical/biotech/CMO-CDMO; minimum 6 years B2B pharmaceutical sales.
- Deep understanding of drug development (preclinical–commercialization), CMC, and technical operations (e.g., aseptic fill-finish, API synthesis, biologics).
- Extensive relationships in pharma/biotech/biopharma.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and credibility internally/externally.
- Strong business acumen.
- Highly independent, entrepreneurial, goal-oriented.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension).
Salary Range: $151,000–$314,000.
