Operations
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of accountability to the VP of EFC Procurement and the CPO for all Technology categories.
- Own and lead global category strategies balancing execution speed, risk management, value creation, and long-term scalability.
- Ensure category strategies align to the Technology portfolio and roadmap to enable timely program delivery.
- Provide procurement oversight and execution leadership for the Technology portfolio; deploy resources against priorities.
- Develop and execute Category Management Plans delivering measurable value, synergies, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement across people, process, governance, systems integration, and reporting.
- Translate analysis into executive-ready strategic insights and financial impact.
- Lead complex programs/projects; apply technology, supply market, and benchmark insights to optimize actions.
- Leverage cross-functional relationships and vendor landscapes to optimize enterprise portfolios.
- Maintain P&L accountability (budget management, value delivery, and financial performance tracking).
- Partner with Technology leadership to anticipate scientific needs and enable innovation.
- Proactively gather feedback and address gaps in service/execution/alignment.
- Build and develop a global team of category managers; foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Provide thought leadership on technology, AI, and digital transformation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (science, business, finance, supply chain, engineering, or related preferred).
- MBA or relevant MS/PhD strongly preferred.
- 12+ years strategic sourcing/procurement experience; 5+ years in pharma/life sciences preferred.
- Demonstrated Technology procurement expertise.
- Proven experience leading teams and complex category portfolios.
- Professional certification in procurement/supply chain/Six Sigma desirable.
- Experience with Coupa, SAP, and Ariba preferred.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices and contract law; global complexities preferred.
- Prior transformation/change management experience.
