Job Title: Senior Director, Agentic AI & Automation

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-year agentic AI & RPA roadmap converging hyperautomation, process-mining, and LLM-driven workflows.
- Operationalize an Agentic Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) governing standards, reusable assets, and ROI tracking.
- Partner with cross-functional executives to prioritize high-value automations across the business.
- Champion MCP and agent-orchestration patterns for future-proof integration.
- Architect modular multi-agent systems powered by frontier LLMs and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI).
- Design secure agent-to-agent (A2A) communication with shared memory, credential vaults, and RBAC.
- Implement enterprise MCP engine and Agent Protocol standards for human–agent–bot collaboration.
- Standardize integration with vector stores and cloud MLOps (Azure AI Search, Databricks, SageMaker, Vertex AI).
- Build event-driven, low-code pipelines (e.g., n8n, Dify, Glean) for real-time agentic RPA.
- Implement observability/governance (e.g., Arcade.dev, AgentOps, Langfuse) and GxP-compliant validation for autonomous workflows.
- Lead interdisciplinary squad; deliver iteratively using agile OKRs, rapid POCs, and KPI evaluation.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. (preferred) in AI/Data Science/CS/Applied Math/Engineering/Physics or related field.
- 15+ years leading AI/ML or intelligent automation; 10+ years hands-on Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, PyTorch, Keras, Git.
- 12+ years architecting ML/deep learning incl. LLMs and RAG pipelines.
- 8+ years building web apps (Dash, Streamlit, Shiny) and advanced data products.
- 8+ years scalable AI/ML on Databricks or Dataiku with strong AI/MLOps.
- Deep cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP) and compliance (GxP, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Strong communication skills; leadership/autonomy; systems engineering problem-solving.

- Base salary range: $255,600 - $312,000 per year; equity and comprehensive benefits including flexible paid time off, medical/dental/vision, life/disability insurance, and 401(k) offerings.
