Senior Director Access & Reimbursement Managers β Mid-West
Position Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a regional team of Access and Reimbursement Managers (ARMs); align team to organizational goals.
- Coach and develop ARMs; foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize access and reimbursement for a specialty product across endocrinology practices.
- Monitor access/reimbursement trends; proactively address barriers; drive implementation of market-relevant innovations.
- Partner cross-functionally (Trade, Market Access, Thought Leader Liaisons, Sales, Analytics) to align access strategies.
- Serve as escalation point for patient access and reimbursement; resolve issues with ARMs and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Track/report team performance metrics; implement corrective actions.
- Oversee development of tools/resources to support ARMs.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA/MHA or related field preferred.
- Minimum 10 yearsβ experience in access/reimbursement or patient support roles in pharma/healthcare.
- Proven experience leading/coaching high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures/specialty products; GI/hepatology practice knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Travel 50β70% in assigned region.
