Senior Data Scientist

Position Summary
The Sr. Data Scientist will work with biostatistics, data management, clinical development, and medical affairs to provide data analytics and data science solutions supporting clinical development and evidence generation activities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Use innovative methodology and technology for data analysis in cooperation with peers across functions.
- Identify new technological initiatives using data science, mathematics, statistics, and AI for clinical trial and real-world data.
- Understand clinical trial design and analysis methodology.
- Contribute to protocol design, statistical analysis plan, clinical study reports, and publications.

Knowledge And Skill Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biostatistics (or closely related discipline) with 2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech industry setting; or equivalent combination.
- Comprehensive knowledge of statistical experimental design and data analysis.
- Proficiency with R, SAS, Python, GitHub, and generative AI tools.
- Understanding of ICH and FDA guidelines.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing organizational needs.
- Strong interpersonal and effective oral/written communication skills.

Compensation And Benefits
- Anticipated salary range (National): $150,000–$180,000; Premium Market (SFBA/NYC/Boston): $160,000–$190,000.
- Eligible for annual bonus and equity incentive awards; not commission-based.
