Senior Data Platform Engineer, Commercial

Role: Senior Data Platform Engineer, Commercial, responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, transformations, and integrations to support commercial analytics and decision-making in a biopharma context. Responsibilities include building ETL/ELT workflows across Snowflake layers, integrating data from CRM, marketing, and external sources, translating business requirements into reusable data models, automating data quality checks, monitoring workloads, troubleshooting failures, and supporting data products for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases. Collaborates closely with data owners and the Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer to ensure operational reliability and data integrity. Requirements: 7+ years in data or analytics engineering, expertise in SQL and Python, experience with Snowflake, data modeling, API integrations, schema change management, and modern transformation tools like dbt. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders are essential. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
