Senior Counsel, US Commercial & Medical
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the legal representative on the promotional review committee for Brand team
- Provide legal advice to Brand team on promotional, advertising, and HCP engagements/communications related to commercialization of biopharmaceutical products (marketed and investigational), including the FD&C Act and FDA regulations on drug labeling and pharmaceutical advertising/promotion
- Draft, negotiate, and review agreements supporting Brand team, including healthcare professional consulting agreements, vendor agreements, and service agreements
- Ensure Brand team operations comply with applicable laws and company policies, including the Anti-kickback Statute and other US healthcare compliance laws/regulations
- Support Global Medical contracts (US HCPs)
- Support US Grant contracts approved by the Grants Review Committee
- Support US Sponsorship contracts approved by the Sponsorships committee
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BA/BS from a recognized college or university
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction
- Minimum 8 yearsβ experience in advertising, promotion, and commercialization at a pharmaceutical company and law firm
