Senior Counsel, Global Alliances Legal - Aesthetics, Toxins and Eye Care

Role: Senior Counsel, Global Alliances Legal at AbbVie, focusing on strategic external collaborations in Aesthetics, Toxins, and Eye Care. Responsibilities: advise and support cross-functional teams on alliance and partnership matters, draft and negotiate complex agreements including licenses and co-development deals, evaluate and structure new collaborations, and support due diligence and integration processes. Collaborate with legal transaction teams and provide strategic legal guidance to senior management. Requirements: J.D. degree, 5+ years of experience in life sciences transactions, preferably in big Pharma or top-tier law firms; strong legal analysis, negotiation, and communication skills; understanding of pharmaceutical R&D, regulatory, and commercial concepts; scientific background or interest preferred. High-Value: expertise in pharmaceutical collaborations, biologics or device development, and global partnership negotiations. Work Setup: in-office at least 3 days/week in North Chicago, IL, Irvine, CA, or South San Francisco, CA.
