Senior Cost Accountant

Role: Manage cost accounting, inventory oversight, and analysis for US bioprocessing plants, supporting financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: oversee monthly inventory close, manage journal entries, reconciliations, inventory variance analysis, and excess/obsolete inventory review; collaborate with operations on manufacturing variances, cost savings, and inventory revaluation; coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and standard cost validation; assist with physical and cycle counts, gross margin analysis, and inventory transactions; support integration of acquisitions and monitor global inventory; ensure SOX controls compliance and perform special analyses. Qualifications: BA/BS in Accounting; 5+ years in cost and inventory accounting within manufacturing; strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX controls; proficient in Excel, SAP (preferred), with excellent communication skills.
