Independently leads core compensation analysis and market benchmarking activities to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices. Partners with Total Rewards, HR, and business partners to provide data-driven salary analysis and recommendations, compensation processes, and may own a small client group. Contributes to compensation programs such as annual planning cycles; owns market data management; provides analytical insights and creates dashboards using available technology and analytics platforms.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct market pricing, job evaluations, FLSA classification reviews, and internal equity analyses; support salary recommendations using established tools, market data, and internal guidelines.
- Lead annual compensation survey participation (job matching, data validation, submission); analyze results and integrate market data into compensation tools for benchmarking and pay decisions.
- Perform compensation analyses (pay data review, trends, ad hoc analyses); prepare reports and summaries for Compensation and HR stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards/visualizations using Visier and AI-enabled tools.
- Lead assigned workstreams for the annual compensation cycle (data validation, modeling, reporting, issue resolution, recommendations).
- Participate in compensation initiatives (job architecture, leveling, salary structure design/maintenance, tool enhancements).
- Partner with HR to guide compensation inquiries, interpret analytics, explain standard processes, and support decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support a small client group with day-to-day inquiries and compensation guidance/requests.
- Support Total Rewards team with data management and other assigned tasks.
- Assist in maintaining compensation systems and documentation.
- Participate in training and development.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (required).
- 5+ years quantitative/analytical experience; at least 3 years compensation experience including market pricing, job evaluation, survey participation, salary structure development/administration, and compensation program support.
- Familiarity with HR systems (Oracle or other), market pricing and job description management software, and analytical tools.
- CCP preferred but not required; interest in pursuing preferred.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated): Base salary $90,000β$115,000; short-term incentive/bonus opportunity within first 12 months; comprehensive health/insurance benefits and 401(k) matching contribution.
