Summary/Purpose:
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives advancing Zanzalintinib development and provide critical information and advice to leadership.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Deliver pipeline commercial analysis and strategic planning for Zanzalintinib:
- Provide commercial assessments and develop revenue forecasts for potential indications to inform Ph3 Go/No-Go and business planning.
- Plan and execute primary/secondary market research to support opportunity assessment and forecast assumptions.
- Develop treatment and competitive landscapes in key solid tumors.
- Drive Target Product Profile (TPP) development/refinement with Development.
- Provide competitive intelligence: monitor competitor/disease/news/clinical developments; generate senior-leadership alerts; attend conferences and summarize key presentations.
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Clinical Development, Translational Medicine, Medical Affairs, and Finance to generate holistic recommendations.
- Review clinical data for pipeline opportunities; assess competitive positioning and commercial implications.
- Determine appropriate analyses for key business questions; provide data-driven recommendations.
- Interpret complex analytical inputs (primary/secondary data, forecasting, competitive intelligence, scenario planning).
- Manage third-party vendors for market research and competitive intelligence.
- Present key deliverables to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Education/Experience:
- BS/BA + 5 years; or MS + 3 years; or PhD; or equivalent.
- Highly desirable: life sciences strategy consulting or pharma/biotech analytics.
- Required: new product evaluation experience.
- Highly desired: oncology and specialty product experience.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Qualitative/quantitative primary research methods; evaluation of scientific/clinical literature.
- Patient-based forecasting and quantitative modeling.
- Strategic collaboration; ability to frame business questions and identify information sources.
- Ability to navigate uncertainty; structured decision-making.
- Strong presentation and communication; organizational/project management/problem-solving.
