Position Summary / Responsibilities:
- Support monthly and quarterly revenue close (ASC 606), including journal entries for product revenue, reserves/allowances, AR, inventory, and related areas.
- Perform account reconciliations and flux analyses (revenue, AR, inventory, gross-to-net [GTN]).
- Review gross-to-net estimates (rebates, chargebacks, returns, deductions) and support monthly reporting under the credit facility.
- Support financial close, internal reporting, internal/external audit requests, and SOX compliance for revenue/commercial accounting.
- Manage AR activities: invoicing, collections, aging, follow-up; resolve billing/payment/deduction discrepancies.
- Support distribution channel accounting (specialty pharmacy, wholesale) and analyze commercial activity (revenue drivers, customers, deductions).
- Support inventory accounting (reconciliations, reserves, related journal entries); coordinate with Supply Chain; perform standard cost analysis.
- Support GTN forecasting/true-ups/reserve analysis; gather/validate government pricing data (Medicaid, PHS/340B, VA/FSS); review contracts for accounting impacts; prepare Pricing Committee materials/scenario analyses.
- Over time, take increasing ownership of GTN components for at least one product; partner cross-functionally to understand revenue/deductions/inventory drivers.
- Support process improvement/automation across commercial accounting, GTN, inventory, and reporting.
Qualifications / Skills:
- BS in accounting/finance (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred); 5β7+ years relevant experience; revenue/AR/commercial accounting required; life sciences/biotech/pharma exposure strongly preferred.
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge (ASC 606), analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, cross-functional communication; proactive learning in regulated GTN/government pricing.
- Plus: GTN/chargebacks/rebates; inventory accounting.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated): $120,000β$145,000; eligible for annual bonus and equity incentives; comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, life/disability, FSA, 401(k), paid time off/holidays).
