Senior Cloud Engineering Lead

Role: Senior Cloud Engineering Lead specializing in GCP infrastructure, security, and automation within Pfizer's Digital transformation. Responsibilities: provide technical leadership to a small team of 3–5 cloud engineers; design, implement, and manage secure, scalable GCP solutions; promote Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OpenTofu, and Pulumi; collaborate globally to develop cloud-native capabilities; stay current on GCP trends and security; and ensure continuous improvement and automation practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; 6+ years of cloud engineering experience (or advanced degrees with fewer years); at least 2 years in a technical leadership role; deep GCP expertise including networking, security, and compute services; proficiency with IaC tools and Python; excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred: advanced GCP certifications, experience in regulated GxP environments, open-source contributions, and DevOps tooling.
