Role: Senior Clinical Science Specialist in Rare Diseases, responsible for establishing and growing Ipsen’s Rare Disease Franchise in the US, primarily through field-based customer engagement and sales growth. Responsibilities: achieve or exceed sales and KPIs within the Washington, DC region; develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers; navigate complex multi-stakeholder healthcare organizations; collaborate with cross-functional teams; analyze market and customer data to inform strategic planning. Requirements: minimum 10 years in life sciences, including 5+ years in rare/specialty areas and 3+ years in specialty biopharma sales; BA/BS in a related field; proven track record of meeting targets; deep understanding of payer and clinical landscapes in rare diseases; strong communication, organization, and presentation skills; ability to work independently with minimal support.
