The Senior Purchasing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient purchase of goods and services.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with assigned departments to understand purchasing needs and drive sourcing, vendor and purchasing decisions.
- Assist internal business partners with purchase requests; compile and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Manage urgent purchase requests and independently manage priorities.
- Mitigate purchasing, delivery and/or lead time issues.
- Support implementation of technology for more efficient purchasing.
- Serve as liaison between internal teams and vendors; communicate pricing and performance needs.
- Analyze spend to support procurement activities and determine future supply needs.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Recommend preferred vendors and consolidation opportunities.
- Lead meetings with internal stakeholders to drive efficient processes and high procedure compliance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or life sciences.
- 4 years of experience in finance, buyer, or purchasing role.
- Highly organized; self-motivated self-starter.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Preferred:
- 2 years of purchasing-related experience at a biotech company.

Pay range:
- Wisconsin: $65,000–$75,000; California: $70,000–$85,000.

Onsite: 5 days/week in Verona, WI or San Diego, CA.
