Description
Wave Life Sciences USA seeks a Discovery IT Business Partner to join the Information Technology team in Cambridge and Lexington, MA. Partner with Discovery to drive technology and automation solutions, expand Discovery Informatics capabilities, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to the β€œlab of the future” vision.

Experience / Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Information Management/Technology or Computer Science (required); graduate and/or Discovery Science degree (Chemistry, Biology) (highly preferred).
- 7+ years’ experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech; 5+ years working in Discovery (required).
- 5–8 years as an IT business analyst or R&D product specialist (required).
- Experience with Discovery systems: eLNB, compound registration, pipeline tools, inventory management, lab automation (required).
- Experience leading projects and/or Discovery business teams (required).
- Working knowledge of FDA/EMA regulations (Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11, Part 210, 211), Computer Systems Validation, and GAMP framework (required).

Responsibilities
- IT business partner for Biology, Data Sciences, Lab Systems, Medicinal Chemistry, Translational, Research Pharmacology, Process Development Preclinical, and Process Engineering.
- Product owner for Dotmatics, CLIMB, Lab Voice (requirements through deployment, operations, upgrades, retirement).
- Lead Discovery tech projects: lab automation, SDMS, robotics, non-clinical/tox/biology data lakes; partner on LIMS with GXP/Discovery leaders.
- Lead change management, training/onboarding, Tier 1–3 ticket management with MSP teams.
- Create eLNB and business-process data stories (reagent, inventory, lab) with SONAR Product Manager/team; coordinate Scrum/Kanban roadmaps.
- Provide monthly compliance/progress/operational reports; lead/co-lead initiatives (workflow digitization, FAIR data, research capacity scaling).
- Coordinate vendor/software upgrades; establish data-gathering controls; champion a data-driven culture.

Key Skills
- Agile adaptability to new technologies.
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred); analytics/pipelining preferred.
- Pharma/Biotech lab and/or manufacturing IT experience (beneficial).
