Position Summary
Senior Associate Scientist to join LNP Process Development team (Cambridge, MA). Develop, characterize, and implement robust preclinical and clinical manufacturing processes; focus on LNP process development from early development through clinical manufacturing support.

Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on LNP process development and scale-up experiments (bench to pilot)
- Design/perform optimization and characterization experiments for targeted LNPs using structured approaches (QbD, DoE) across upstream/downstream unit operations
- Author/review technical protocols, experimental reports, and batch records
- Perform routine analytical testing (e.g., conjugation, particle size, encapsulation, concentration)
- Analyze/interpret results and present to senior scientists and project teams
- Collaborate with R&D, analytical development, and manufacturing to advance LNP pipeline
- Support technology transfer with manufacturing partners (document review/activities)
- Maintain complete, accurate laboratory notebooks and documentation per internal quality standards

Qualifications
- BS with 2+ years industry experience, or MS with 0–3+ years in Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field
- Hands-on LNP formation at small and large scale
- Analytical familiarity: Ribogreen (encapsulation), DLS (particle size)
- Basic understanding of LNP formation unit operations
- Strong lab fundamentals, attention to detail; comfortable with bench-top nanoparticle equipment and UF/DF skids
- Ability to organize/analyze data, identify trends, and communicate clearly

Preferred/Plus
- Exposure to GMP/cGMP (plus)
- DoE or statistical analysis software experience (plus)
- International travel up to 10%

- $96,010–$116,339 (Cambridge, MA, US)
