Senior Associate Manufacturing (Drug Product) – Thousand Oaks
What You Will Do
- Execute drug product filling activities.
- Perform initial review of manufacturing batch records.
- Maintain a safe environment while adhering to compliance standards; identify additional preventative measures.
- Craft and/or revise standard procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (may be multi-functional).
- Perform data analysis (e.g., SPC, CPV) of critical process parameters and recommend actions to Engineering and/or Process Development.
- Develop finite schedules for tasks including unit operations.
- Review efficiency and identify countermeasures for issues impacting cycle time alignment.
- Elevate critical and impactful events to management.
- Utilize appropriate systems for job duties (SAP, QMTS, LIMS, etc.).
- Support introduction of new products and technologies into the facility.
- Initiate and own quality records, including non-conformances (NC) and CAPA.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree, or
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 months of Operations or Quality experience, or
- Associate’s degree and 2 years of Operations or Quality experience, or
- High school diploma/GED and 4 years of Operations or Quality experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years biopharmaceutical experience in drug/pharmaceutical manufacturing including aseptic/sterile filling and lyophilization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- Lean concepts in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Communication/collaboration with technical and management staff.
- Basic project management skills.
- Emergent leadership traits and strong problem-solving.
