Senior Assistant, Catering (M-F 8am-4:30pm)

Responsibilities:
- Support Foodservice Management by coordinating and overseeing daily catering/foodservice operations, including the executive suite.
- Lead catering floor staff via training, coaching, work direction, and daily operational support.
- Ensure staff have needed tools, equipment, and resources for daily production.
- Maintain compliance with sanitation, safety, recipe, and portion-control policies/standards.
- Prepare and oversee catering menu production to ensure accurate completion per standardized recipes.
- Coordinate catering activities and communicate needs with kitchen, storeroom, and other support teams.
- Manage timely delivery, pickup, and movement of catering orders, supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor inventory support: supply availability, product ordering needs, and return of equipment/reusable items.
- Support prep planning, attend service meetings as appropriate, and ensure next-day production needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and complete/maintain required logs and records.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years cooking and catering experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.
- Strong multitasking and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, guest service, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and written recipes.
- Computer proficiency (office equipment, register systems, Microsoft Office/Excel).
- Cash-handling responsibility experience required.
- Preferred: sanitation certification.
- Excellent work/attendance record; available for overtime, weekend work, and flexible scheduling as needed.
