Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and use a business plan aligned with marketing strategies via territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insights (updated quarterly).
- Implement business plans by leveraging appropriate human and physical resources with Hematologists and Oncologists and other key customers.
- Build expertise in product, disease state, and marketplace; communicate and position product information to promote appropriate use of the Sanofi Genzyme oncology portfolio in territory.
- Partner with field stakeholders to ensure strategy pull-through (e.g., Key IDNs/System, Reimbursement, Key Accounts, other ABMs, and Medical as appropriate).
- Complete call reporting, business plan updates, and expense reports; operate within pharma compliance guidelines.
- Target accounts effectively and manage time.
- Attend required training and relevant conventions/symposia.
- Complete fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited school (business or life science preferred).
- Minimum 2 years specialty sales experience (Oncology/Hematology preferred).
Required/Preferred Skills & Requirements:
- Ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Up to 2 years successful experience selling chemotherapeutic agents or biotech products (preferred).
- Preferred: knowledge of hospital/cancer center environment.
- Required: safely drive a company car to daily meetings/appointments.
