Senior AP Payment Specialist

Role: Senior Accounts Payable Payment Specialist responsible for processing accurate and timely payments across various formats including check, ACH, wire, and portal transactions. Objectives include supporting financial operations through efficient payment workflows, vendor management, and compliance with policies. Responsibilities encompass managing weekly payables, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and reconciling aging reports, while ensuring security and accuracy in sensitive financial data. Collaborates closely with Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams to enhance processes and support audits. Qualifications: High school diploma; 3+ years accounts payable experience; 1+ years payment processing, including bank wires and foreign currency transactions; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred: Associate degree in accounting or related field; experience with Oracle or CashPro software. Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational acumen, communication skills, and multitasking ability. High-value biopharma specifics are limited; however, the role supports the financial backbone of a life sciences company involved in molecular diagnostics and precision medicine. Location: Irving, TX, onsite with collaboration across finance teams.
