The Position:
This position has dual responsibilities in Tax Accounting and International Tax Compliance for Organon and reports to the Associate Director, Tax Accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of quarterly estimate and actual calculations of the Companyβs consolidated effective tax rate.
- Review legal entity projections and related tax provisions, including tax effecting of consolidation entries.
- Assist with global tax accounting activities, including assessment and documentation of valuation allowances.
- Conduct technical reviews of deferred tax assets and liabilities.
- Correspond with local/foreign entities to resolve pending issues.
- Research tax technical issues and perform necessary reconciliations.
- Assist with review of Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8991, 8992, and 8993.
- Research international tax issues.
- Assist with Country-by-Country Reporting, Pillar Two/Global Minimum Tax, and other emerging international tax requirements.
- Support tax audits and IRS inquiries.
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
- Tax software experience (OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, SAP, Alteryx).
- Experience with project management.
- Advanced degree in taxation and/or CPA.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Technology and tax compliance software experience (OneSource, Microsoft Suite apps).
